This Saturday, I will present select drawings, paintings, and install our short film “Back To Abstraction” at this fun event–

Imagine a magical party playground where all the strange, funny, and beautiful elements of art, comedy, magic, and music come to mingle… SUPER TIGHT–a show that gathers the perfect amount of each of these elements into a frosty martini shaker, adds some magic mushrooms, and shakes until sun up–is back at the Cinefamily!

Cinefamily inhabits historic space: the old silent movie theater in West Hollywood, one of my favorite spots. So, being a part of this event is truly a treat. I mean, just read their mission statement–

Like campfires, sporting events and church services, we believe that movies work best as social experiences. They are more meaningful, funnier and scarier when shared with others.

Every movie I see here is magical . . . mostly because it’s an experience with other people, not just myself and the screen. It makes sense that they would also host a multi-faceted show like Super Tight. I’m thankful for the opportunity to engage with this collection of creatives who embrace art-blending experiences.
