A few months ago, I started drawing a series of faux film movie posters inspired by life and fiction in Los Angeles. Each piece was conceived of and drawn in one day. First, while riding the bus from Echo Park to Downtown, I wrote the joke/concept in a notebook. Ideas were inspired by billboards, newspapers, and bits of conversation en route. Then, at the Central Public Library, I executed each immediately without judgement.
